- Add support JDK 17.
- Remove support for JDK 6. JDK 17 does not support compiling for release 6. Supporting 6 would require using Toolchains.
- Update Spring.
- Use Spring BOM.
- Update Maven Plugins.
- Move dependencies to where they are needed.
