The "counter" type in librato metrics is intended for reporting external counters that are observed (like the number of bytes sent or received on an ethernet interface) instead of something that a user can send an "increment" to the server for. I haven't really found a case where the counter type fits in with what how metriks works. Would you mind giving me some examples of using librato metrics counters from metriks? |
