Description of Changes
Removed:
patches/common/remove-ask-vscode.diff - No longer needed as disable ai feature also turn off ask vscode
Remove the presence of remove-ask-vscode in .series file
Modified:
patches/common/remove-builtin-extensions.diff - Enabled disable ai feature and removed 'start using ai with copilot ' and 'open extensions in copilot' options in setting
Based on release notes, the disableaifeature setting hides all copilot related functions. By turning it off and make sure the setting cannot be manually changed or turned on by code logic (like in chatentitlementservice), all ai features will stay hidden.
Testing
Created build and uploaded image to sagemaker, tested and make sure all chat related functions stay hidden since start-up
