This is a preliminary review.
Please have a commit message that conforms to CONTRIBUTING.md
Please also base your change on 10.6. This is a very safe change and it should be going to the lowers affected version for uniformity.

I’ve updated the commit message to conform to CONTRIBUTING.md and rebased
the change on 10.6 as requested.

Renamed description_event_for_exec to description_event_for_sql_thread
for clarity, since it is used by the SQL thread.
