templates: how to use env ar while defining default?

I'm defining a symlink_....tmpl node that defines a target based off "XDG_CONFIG_HOME"; if it's not provided, it's to default to ~/.config:

{{- default .chezmoi.homeDir "/.config" env "XDG_CONFIG_HOME" -}}/dir-under-config/someotherdir

chezmoi apply errors with executing "symlink_....tmpl" at <env>: wrong number of args for env: want 1 got 0

Use (env VAR). You have to make the default item a single entry in the list.

Nice! For future googlers, this is what I ended up using (note my original question had improper str concatenation):

{{- default (print .chezmoi.homeDir "/.config") (env "XDG_CONFIG_HOME") -}}/dir-under-config/someotherdir
