I get a lot of error messages like this when compiling the example for the HC-05

Hello, Stefan. What device are you using? Does it have a Serial1 defined? This library requires Serial1 for HC-0x UART since Serial is used for user interface. I plan to add support for user to specify own UART interface in the future, but for now it must be Serial1.

I use an Arduino Uno and a HC-05

Unfortunately the Uno only has a single Serial interface (the one used by USB connection), so it can't currently be used with the library. I hope to add support for SoftwareSerial interfaces in the future so that even devices with a single UART can be used (if their board package implements SoftwareSerial). I'll set this issue as a feature request and update it when this feature becomes available.
