Hook functions for pre-/post-tool call, pre-/post-prompt, startup and shutdown

I would like to instrument GH copilot-cli along the workflow. I would like to run custom scripts whenever a tool is called (pre & post) as well as before/after each prompt. Ideally, I would also like to run custom scripts on startup of GH copilot-cli as well as on exit.
