How to vertically center the content of a ListItem with a height=2?

The current content in the ListItem is at the top, and even though I set content-align: left middle, it cannot be centered vertically.
I don't want to set height=3, are there any other solutions?

If your container is 2 lines high, then content can only go in the first or second lines. There is no way in a terminal to position text that overlaps a line.
