Renderer freezes permanently when navigating to certain tasks in projects?

Navigating to specific tasks causes a complete renderer freeze that persists across app restarts and system reboots. The UI becomes fully unresponsive. no task switching, no sidebar interaction, no clicks register. The only escape is spamming Cmd+N to open a new task and avoiding the affected ones.
