How I can configure ESC Button instead of P?

I have tried multiple times but didn't worked.

You can edit the condicional

if Config.EnableCommand then
...
end

to:

if Config.EnableCommand then

else
  CreateThread(function()
    while true do
        Wait(500)
        if IsControlJustReleased(0, 200) then
          PauseMenu()
        end
    end
  end)

This approach is aimed at not using the /openpausemenu command, If you want, apart from being able to use the command and opening the menu with the ESC key, you can place the CreateThread(function()... outside the if conditional.

It considers that there are keys reserved by the system, therefore it cannot be registered by RegisterKeyMapping.

yes, but if you want have "ESC" and "P" keys and use the command at the same time, do this:

oddly enough it now just makes them both open the standard pause menu

dont worry,the posible error is, the if Config.EnableKeyMapping then it does not have the end closed.

Hey guys, remember that the first time you start the pause menu the Register Key Mapping will register the key set in the config file. So if you for example put "P", then the key will be registered as "P". Due to the nature of Register Key Mapping, if you put a value, when you change it from Config you should change it manually from the client (ESC -> Key Mapping -> FiveM) or clear the client cache. So i advice you to change the key to "ESC" before starting it the first time. I'll edit the default config to make it from ESC by default

Thank you for this. No problem to keymap. I moved everything to default then put in the esc key and it doesnt seem to work still. just works on P still. and unsure why.

Did you check from the games keymapping if there's still "P" instead of "Escape"?

it seems you cant map it to esc in the game. it just backs out every time i tried/ but yes there is still a P

Hello reading your code, again you need to close the if conditional, put the end before the else, since this end is from the if Config.EnableKeyMapping then and try.
